Triceps Introduction The triceps are a muscle composed of three muscles hence the word triceps. The triceps work opposite of the biceps and attach themselves under our deltoid and below our elbows. The triceps become involved anytime that we straighten our arm and twist our wrist upward The Triceps (1) Long head: infraglenoid tubercle of scapula. (2) lateral head: upper half posterior humerus (linear origin). (3) medial head: lies deep on lower half posterior humerus inferomedial to spiral groove and both intermuscular septa
Action of the Triceps Extends elbow. Long head stabilizes shoulder joint. medial head retracts capsule of elbow joint on extension

We are providing a front and side view of each roll, as with all muscle and soft tissue we recommend to roll lightly but frequently. 40 - 50 rolls, keeping the pain level at a 3 on a scale of 1 - 10 works well. Lateral Head
Note that while the arm is not supported that the hand is relaxed and the palm is facing the models face.
LongHead
The Arm again is not supported and the hand is in the relaxed position.
Medial Head
In this position the arm is again relaxed as is the hand with the second knuckle resting lightly on the leg, the elbow is also turned slightly up.
